Psalm Thirteen: Light to My Eyes

"How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will the enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes or I will sleep in death; my enemy will say, 'I have overcome him.' and my foes will rejoice when I fall."

"But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for he had been good to me." v. 1-6

Regardless if God sheds light on our suffering or not, we are always able to rejoice in our salvation He has given us.

I hadn't noticed the candle in the eyes before, so thanks for the close-up. I really like that. I like that the Light isn't just something that stands apart from us to guide us but instead becomes a part of us, an inextricable part of our vision and the way we see things.

I love how you use words like inextricable.
