How in the world could
all of this amazingness have happened one year ago today? It hardly seems possible that so much healing and love and happiness can wrapped up in the gift that is our one-year-old Sadie Joy.

I had big plans for this weekend for her.....a Mickey/Minnie birthday party with her cousin Landon and getting her dedicated at church this Sunday. Neither happened thanks to a killer storm that knocked out power in our whole county for the past 2 nights. Instead we had a fun family adventure at my parents' who generously shared shared their generator and plenty of food. We still managed to have a small family celebration at B and Pop Pop's.
