We got a new case worker who seems wonderful. She is all-business, no fluffy words, to the point, compassionate, and promises to return our calls within 24 hours, if not sooner. I'm wishing we had her way before now.
I'll get to the point.
Josiah is being permanently placed with his grandfather and brother by the middle of January.
When Justin is finished using the computer for his big grad school project, I'll have time to write and process how and why we came to this decision.
I am so thankful for all of the emails and messages I've received from so many of you. I thank you for keeping us in your prayers and would ask you would continue to do so as we enjoy these last few weeks as a family.

Wow...this is a very difficult decision that I'm sure that you guys came to with only the greatest love for Josiah. I'll be looking forward to hearing the details. Decisions like this never come easy....
Praying for the peace and comfort that only God can provide - I don't know what else to say other than that I am so sorry that your hearts are hurting so badly and that things didn't turn out the way we all had hoped. Hugs!
Oh Megan, I know this wasn't easy for you guys. We'll be praying as we wait for the details.
I will be watching for the details, but know our family is sending you and Justin love and strength. I know you guys make thoughtful and God-full decisions, and we love you so much. God's hands are big and strong...there is room enough for everyone in them. Hugs.
We are praying for you guys.... so much!
